ThePosition
Our client is seeking a Bank Financial Adviser in the greater Raleigh, NC area. The successful candidate will join a team of seasoned investment professionals managing advisory services, utilizing sophisticated market strategies and research. You will work with experienced private bankers and trust and wealth planning professionals serving high net worth clients.
The compensation package includes a base salary of $36K, a generous commission plan, and an internal referral program. Benefits include a company-provided laptop and cell phone, and a private banking office.
The responsibilities of the Bank Financial Advisor include:
- Identifying and developing new opportunities to advise clients and offer solutions.
- Generating new Wealth Management prospects through referrals, community contacts, and existing clients.
- Collaborating with team members to expand client relationships.
- Serving as the primary contact for high net worth clients.
- Interacting with clients and coordinating strategies with team members.
- Leading the client relationship team to grow revenue, improve satisfaction, and retain clients.
- Meeting regularly with branch staff to develop referral skills and update industry knowledge.
- Building referral relationships with other bank divisions, professionals, and community contacts.

You bring the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
- CFP designation preferred.
- At least four years of sales and advisory experience in securities, advisory, or insurance financial services.
- Valid FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 or 66 licenses in good standing.
- NC Life, Health, Long Term Care, and Medicare Supplement licenses.
- Knowledge of investment management strategies, trust solutions, and financial products.
- Strong sales, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
