Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide life-changing care directly in the community, helping clients on their path to recovery from mental health and substance use challenges.

Receive up to $65/week for licensure supervision, ongoing training, and career development opportunities.
- Conduct substance use assessments and provide individual and group interventions.
- Facilitate access to recovery resources, including 12-step programs.
- Collaborate with the ACT team to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Participate in daily team meetings to ensure quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Welligent EMR.
- Offer on-call crisis intervention services as part of a rotating schedule.
- Certified as a CADC or CCS, or provisionally or fully licensed as a LCAS/A in NC.
- Comfortable working in community settings with a valid driver’s license.
- Hourly Salary: $43,680 to $65,000/year | $21.00 – $31.25/hour, based on licensure and experience
