Role Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate account and billing information to relevant departments within specified timelines
  • Implement collection measures for uncollected co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance effectively
  • Serve as an additional contact regarding benefit determinations within departmental timelines
  • Maintain and work through self-pay and insurance work lists daily, documenting appropriately in the system
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in healthcare collections or related fields preferred
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
