CLINICAL THERAPIST

Certus Psychiatry is a leading mental health practice, with tremendous growth and a passion to better serve our patients and providers. We are seeking a compassionate and positive Mental Health Therapist LCSW or LCMHC to provide therapeutic support for patients with mental health, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues.

The Therapist will work collaboratively with our psychiatrist and other practitioners in outpatient settings, providing plans for therapeutic interventions and appropriate follow up care, implementing treatment plans, and coordinating the treatment process with appropriate team members. This position is full time (40hrs/week) and a hybrid Tele Health / In office.

• Recommending treatment plan and following treatment outcomes.
• Active participation in case conferences and related team based meetings.
• Working with the clinical staff towards the integration of patient health with behavioral health.
• Providing client education on behavioral health issues and strategies for recovery.

• Has master’s degree in Human Service field required (e.g. Social Work, Counseling, LCMHC or LCSW) and will be able to join the private insurance panels. Cognitive behavior therapy skills are required for this position.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Licensure/certification/registration in NC.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMR programs.
• Confidence to work independently.
• Willingness to take over existing patients as well as take on new patients.
