Overview

• The firm's Healthcare Practice advises a diverse range of provider-side clients, including hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and physician groups, across regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters.
• Core responsibilities involve analyzing and advising on complex state and federal healthcare laws, specifically Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Civil Monetary Penalty, HIPAA, EMTALA, state licensure, and Medicare reimbursement and enrollment. This also includes providing guidance on hospital and health system operational compliance and assisting with strategy development.
• The role includes conducting regulatory diligence in healthcare mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, and joint ventures, as well as day‑to‑day regulatory counseling for sophisticated healthcare organizations.
• Required experience encompasses drafting and negotiating physician/provider agreements, advising on provider contracting matters, and familiarity with healthcare compliance programs, self‑disclosures, and regulatory investigations.
• The position involves direct client contact, active participation in developing business-oriented solutions, and collaborative work with attorneys across different practice groups.
