Overview
Rave! Catering is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Pack as a Catering Events Supervisor. The position is temporary and involves supervising prep work and setup for catering events around campus. NC State Dining provides campus-wide food services and employs a mix of temporary, student, and permanent staff.

- Supervise staff in the absence of a catering event coordinator to ensure events are successful.
- Professionally and successfully execute all components of the Banquet Event Order (BEO).
- Prepare silverware and napkins, and perform general stockroom duties.
- Provide food and beverage service for buffets, break services, receptions and plated meals.
- Other duties as assigned to meet NC State Dining business needs. Position may be asked to assist in other locations as necessary.
Additional duties include being an ambassador for NC State Dining and enriching the campus community experience.

Requirements and Qualifications- Minimum Experience/
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalency. Demonstrated competencies to perform the work will be considered. - Department
Required Skills:
Provide outstanding customer service, adaptability to changing volumes, dependability, time management, ability to work in fast-paced environments, strong written and verbal communication, ability to follow instructions, excellent organization, and attention to detail. Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, twist, pull, push; work in hot/cold kitchen environments. Education:

Work hours vary depending on events and may include evenings and weekends. The position is time-limited with the possibility of renewal into a benefits-eligible permanent role based on performance.
