Job Summary:

Infosys is a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, enabling clients to navigate their digital transformation. They are seeking a Data Protection Specialist responsible for configuring and managing cyber vaults, utilizing Power Protect Data Manager skills, and assisting in the setup of robust ransomware solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage cyber vaults to ensure data protection and recovery.

• Utilize PPDM skillsets to implement and maintain data protection solutions.

• Assist in the setup and deployment of ransomware protection solutions.

• Monitor and manage backup and recovery processes.

• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure seamless integration of cyber vaults.

• Conduct regular audits and tests to ensure the effectiveness of ransomware protection measures.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cyber vault-related issues.

• Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to cyber vault management.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity and data protection.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Raleigh, NC, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience

• Experience in Avamar, Power Protect Data Manager, IBM Spectrum Protect

• Experience in Administration in Data domain and VTL’s

• Experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes

• Experience in application-level backups like Oracle/SQL/SAP through DD boost (Power Protect)

Preferred:

• Experience in handling data restore, backup reporting

• Experience in automation of backup reporting and configuring reports using server graph and Data Protection advisor

• At least 2 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business process

• Analytical and Communication skills

• Planning and Co-ordination skills

• Experience with project management

• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.

• Working Knowledge of:
Configuring and managing cyber vaults.

• Ransomware protection solutions.

• Familiarity with backup and recovery processes and tools.

• Relevant certifications is an added advantage: (CISSP, CISM)
