The Project Manager – ERP Transition will lead a large-scale transformation initiative to migrate legacy business systems into the organization’s main ERP platform.
This strategic role requires deep ERP and finance process expertise, strong program management capabilities, and the ability to align multiple global work streams.
The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with excellent communication skills and experience managing complex programs involving technology, process, and organizational change.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex ERP transformation programs, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Develop and maintain program roadmaps, detailed project plans, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Provide strategic oversight to global cross-functional teams and align efforts with business and IT objectives.
- Collaborate with finance, technology, and business leaders to define ROI, KPIs, and benefit realization.
- Manage program budgets and forecasts, ensuring financial control and tracking actuals.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks and issues, escalating as needed for timely resolution.
- Partner with executive governance and steering committees to align priorities and outcomes.
- Ensure robust organizational change management (OCM) and business readiness for system deployment.
- Mentor project managers and workstream leads, promoting best practices and providing escalation support.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively across global, distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of overall project/program management experience.
- Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale ERP transformation or implementation programs.
- Experience managing multi-workstream, cross-functional, global programs.
- Familiarity with quality frameworks such as Six Sigma, ITIL, or COBIT.
- Proven track record in organizational change management using frameworks like Prosci or ADKAR.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- In-depth understanding of core financial processes:
General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Budgeting, and Reporting. - Hands-on experience in ERP data migration, integration testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
- Experience bridging gaps between business and technical teams in finance transformation programs.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification (required).
