The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the web application developer on a project to rewrite the user interface of the NC ECHO application for the Department of Public Health.

• The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the web application developer on a project to rewrite the user interface of the NC ECHO application for the Department of Public Health.
• The user interface, which was written using Angular JS and Breeze, will be rewritten using .NET.
• The application function that collects data from various systems will remain in place.

• Developer experience with Angular JS, Breeze, C#, Microsoft IIS, .NET, and SQL
• Experience using an agile or scrum SDLC in a developer role
• Knowledge of general IT architectural principles, technical designs, and specifications

• Experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Experience using Git Hub or Bitbucket
• Experience using Jira
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into specific software requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact and communicate effectively with non-technical clients.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in application development; or an Associate degree in Computer Science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in application development; or High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and six years of experience in application development showing increasing levels of responsibility;
  
  or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
