JOB OVERVIEW

Provide services and support as a IT Research, Advisory, and Consulting Services (IT RAC) (Cyber Security Specialist) in the Government And Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Management And Operations Solutions for clients such as State of North Carolina (NCDPC) | North Carolina Department of Administration – Division of Purchase & Contract (P&C). Generally Located In OCONUS - Goldsboro, NC 27530 and across the CONUS - Southern United States (USA) Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

The Pro Sidian Procurement Assistance and IT Research, Advisory, and Consulting Cyber Security Specialist implements and monitors cybersecurity measures for procurement platforms and IT systems to ensure compliance with federal and state standards.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related or technology field.
• Three (3) or more years in a cybersecurity role, such as network administration, security analysis, or penetration testing.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, identify potential threats, and devise solutions. Understand core cybersecurity concepts like network security, access controls, threat analysis, and common vulnerabilities.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

Skills Required

• Professional certification such as CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+.

Competencies Required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products;
