Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC(Remote). You will manage and optimize messaging infrastructure by installing, configuring, and supporting IBM MQ and Kafka clusters.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Install, configure, and manage IBM MQ systems, including queues, channels, SSL/TLS security, clustering, and performance tuning.
• Administer and maintain Kafka clusters, managing brokers, topics, partitions, retention policies, and access control.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and security issues for both MQ and Kafka environments.
• Deploy and manage Kafka containers using Kubernetes, configure clusters, and scale deployments as needed.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate messaging solutions and onboard new connectors for applications.
• Utilize Intune and Power Shell App Deployment Toolkit for application deployment and automation tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6–8 years of experience in messaging systems and containerized deployments.
• Strong expertise in IBM MQ management, including configuration, security (SSL/TLS), clustering, and performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka cluster administration and Kubernetes‑based deployments, including scaling and monitoring.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
