PHP and WordPress Developer

Overview

Data Staff, Inc is seeking a PHP and Word Press Developer for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Raleigh, NC. This position is remote.

• Website Access Restoration:
  Diagnose and repair issues related to the missing Word Press login PHP file, restoring the login functionality for administrative and content management access.
• Static Pages Restoration:
  Diagnose and repair issues related to the inability to make live changes to the static portions of the site.
• Codebase Stabilization:
  Identify problematic custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations that contribute to website instability, applying fixes as necessary to support ongoing use.
• Content Management Support:
  Make minor updates to improve navigation and usability where feasible, given the current structure, to facilitate better access for public users and ease of content management.
• Short-Term Maintenance Recommendations:
  Provide guidance on maintaining the website’s operability over the short term, including essential updates and monitoring for potential points of failure.
• Documentation:
  Document any repairs, temporary fixes, or recommendations for the team to maintain site functionality and address minor issues.

• 5 Years – Extensive experience with PHP Development
• 5 Years – Experience with Word Press Development
• 5 Years – Experience reviewing existing code to diagnose and repair issues related to missing Word Press login PHP files
• 5 Years – Experience restoring the login functionality for administrative and content management access.
• 5 Years – Identify problematic custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations that contribute to website instability, applying fixes as necessary

This opportunity is available on a corp to corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
