Overview
The System Engineer II is an individual contributor within the Citizen Development and Automation team and part of the Digital Workplace Technology organization. The System Engineer will design and deliver solutions to support the bank’s 20,000+ citizen developers, and maintain, support, and improve these innovative technologies. The System Engineer tests and manages features and functionality, troubleshooting complex technical issues while addressing end user requests for assistance.
The System Engineer balances strong technical knowledge with sound business acumen to satisfy internal customers and fulfill technology strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills and is well versed in Microsoft collaboration and citizen development technologies. Strong working knowledge of Power Platform and Power BI infrastructure, and experience with Dataverse, COE, and SharePoint is preferred. The position is remote, however occasional travel to FCB Hub Locations will be required.
Responsibilities- Technical Support
:
Minimizes end user impacts throughout the testing of features and functionality within Power Platform and Power BI Pro infrastructure. Handles escalations, diagnoses and resolves advanced problems, and documents throughout technical support activities. Assists in designing, implementing, and maintaining processes related to security, governance, risk, and compliance. - System Testing
:
Coordinates testing to determine function, results, stability, performance, and capacity consumption. Verifies successful implementation of features, functionality, and supportability. Performs planning and technical activities to ensure platform availability. - System Enhancement
:
Monitors and improves systems, processes, and related technical infrastructure for Power Platform and Power BI Pro. Automates tasks and uses programming or scripting to perform support duties. - Technical Expertise
:
Maintains a strong knowledge base through ongoing research and education. Communicates effective and clear technical information to associates, vendor support personnel, and internal clients. Assists in managing special or advanced projects through task lists, checklists, and other tools. - Technology Stack
:
Power BI Pro, On‑Prem Data Gateways, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages), Connectors and Connector Policies, Managed Environments with Solution Promotion through Pipeline, Jira and Confluence, SharePoint, Power Shell.

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering and Systems Programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Engineering and Systems Programming.
Skills / Experience- 3+ years working with Power Platform and Power BI infrastructure and platform management.
- 2+ years working with an engineering team in the financial industry.
- 3+ years in an Agile delivery environment.
- 1+ year using Jira, Confluence or Azure Dev Ops.
- Familiarity with the FFIEC Architecture, Infrastructure, and Operations Book and applying regulatory requirements to technology operations.
- Advanced product knowledge of Digital Workplace Technology products and services.
The base pay for this position is generally between $98,000 and $150,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non‑discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
