Job Description
The Technology Support Services provides a variety of technology support and consulting services for the University's campus community. Major areas of support include hosted server and application services; campus desktop environments; email, calendaring and campus web environments; enterprise applications, learning spaces; student-focused computing; and problem-ticket tracking and IT service management tools. Overview:
The Active Directory Administrator will be responsible for managing and advancing its enterprise identity and endpoint management infrastructure. This role supports 4,500+ devices across 100+ departments and plays a critical part in implementing the university’s transition from legacy AD structures to a modern persona-based access model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policies, and security configurations
• Design and deploy access controls, permissions, and software packages via AD/SCCM
• Support identity management initiatives, including the transition to persona-based directory services
• Oversee VM administration tasks tied to AD policy enforcement
• Collaborate with IT leadership and security teams on endpoint compliance and enterprise policy development
• Provide technical guidance for ongoing projects, system upgrades, and organizational access strategies Additional
