Position: SCCM Engineer *hybrid*

Overview

Responsible for providing reliable, effective, and efficient client-side computing environments across all Wake Med locations. Provides input to the current architecture, planning, and maintenanceinni strategies of the enterprise desktop, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and mobile device environments. Executes and maintains best practices forwidgets desktops, laptops and clients including but not limited to system image management, software deployment, application packaging process deployments, patch management, inventory management, compliance reporting, license auditing and device naming convention.

Provides tier 3 technical support to the Desktop and Client Services Technicians and closely collaborates with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams.

Licensure

A+ Certification or Network Technology or Microsoft or System Center Configuration Manager – Preferred

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required;
Associate's Degree in Information Technology – Preferred;
Associate's Degree in Computer Science – Preferred

Experience

4 years of experience in Information Technology – Design, Maintain, Implement Desktop Environments, Power Shell Scripting, SCCM Administration, or Audio‑Visual – Required
