This a hybrid role in the Raleigh, NC area. We're looking for an experienced, versatile Net Suite Engineer to expand our Net Suite capacity and serve as a bridge between our Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams and the systems that run them. You'll join a small team of eight excellent engineers—including two Net Suite Engineers—where you'll design, build, and maintain the customizations, automations, and data pipelines that keep our financial and operational systems running smoothly.
Just as important as building is judgment: gathering requirements from the business, knowing where to leverage Net Suite (and where not to), defaulting to native, out-of-the-box functionality over brittle custom scripting, and helping shape our Net Suite roadmap for the next two to three years.
What You'll Do Requirements & Design- Work directly with Finance, Accounting, and Operations to elicit needs, map current-state processes, and translate them into scalable Net Suite solutions
- Default to native configuration first; reach for custom development (Suite Script 1.0/2.x, Suite Flow, Suite Talk) only where out-of-the-box won't meet the need
- Lead Finance's migration into Net Suite — data mapping, chart-of-accounts alignment, process redesign, and historical data conversion
- Extend Net Suite into underserved areas: forecasting, inventory and demand planning, budget planning, and MRP
- Build and maintain integrations between Net Suite and internal/third-party systems via REST/SOAP, middleware, and Suite Talk
- Own the Net Suite ELT pipeline into the data warehouse — connector administration (e.g., Fivetran), sync health monitoring, and transformation models (e.g., dbt) that feed Redshift
- Build and improve business process automations across finance, order management, and operations — including AI-driven workflows such as automated reconciliations
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and support month-end and year-end close
- Track Net Suite releases and emerging capabilities — including native AI features (e.g., 2026.2 / Ask Oracle) — and advise on what to adopt
- Scope and manage Oracle/third-party specialist engagements for deep, niche work
- Flex to broader company needs over time, including item masters, CX flows, and adjacent systems such as Salesforce
- 4+ years of hands-on Net Suite experience (Suite Foundation / Suite Cloud Developer; Suite Script, Suite Flow, workflows, saved searches, custom records)
- Strong functional knowledge of Net Suite Financials: GL, AR/AP, revenue recognition, tax, financial reporting, and period close
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and partner with finance and business stakeholders to scope and deliver solutions
- Experience building and maintaining integrations and data/ELT pipelines (REST/SOAP, middleware, Suite Talk; connector tooling…
