This is early-stage, high-ownership platform engineering — you would be shaping foundational decisions for a new OS, not implementing someone else's spec.

The Head of Platform Security leads the Security team building WinixxOS, setting security strategy and architecture across our entire AOSP-based hardware ecosystem — from consumer phones to payment-processing POS devices. You will report directly to executive leadership and own the security posture of the platform end to end.

• Define and own the security architecture and roadmap for WinixxOS across all device classes
• Build and lead the Platform Security team as it scales
• Set standards for secure boot, sandboxing, SELinux policy, and TEE integration platform-wide
• Own payment-grade security strategy for the POS device class in coordination with compliance requirements
• Partner with the UI and API & Integration teams to ensure security is embedded at every architectural layer
• Lead incident response and vulnerability disclosure processes

• 8+ years of security engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Deep, hands-on AOSP or Android platform security experience
• Experience building security architecture and teams from an early stage
• Familiarity with payment security compliance (PCI-DSS) strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Security, or a related field

The compensation range reflected in this posting represents the minimum and maximum target range for this position. Individual pay within the posted range is determined by a candidate's demonstrated experience, educational background, skill set, and geographic location. Final compensation is established at the time of offer and may fall anywhere within the stated range based on these factors.
