IAM Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an IAM Software Engineer for a leading technology organization. The IAM Software Engineer can work remotely within the United States or in a hybrid capacity from Research Triangle Park, NC. An ideal candidate for the IAM Software Engineer is an experienced identity and access management professional with expertise in Okta, Microsoft Entra , Single Sign-On (SSO), and infrastructure automation.

• Design, implement, and support enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity federation solutions across cloud, on-premises, and SaaS environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot authentication protocols including SAML, OIDC, OAuth, MFA, and identity provider integrations.
• Utilize Terraform and Terragrunt to automate IAM deployments, configuration management, and identity infrastructure processes.
• Partner with security, compliance, and application teams to implement zero-trust security practices and onboard applications into centralized IAM platforms.

• 5+ years of Information Technology experience with a strong focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Deep technical knowledge of Okta and Microsoft Entra , lifecycle management, SSO, and federation protocols.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure automation and IAM configuration management.

• Salary range: $105,000- $130,000 anually
