Traditional Labor Shareholder – Office

Overview

The law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. seeks a shareholder-level attorney with significant experience in traditional labor law to join our nationally-recognized Labor & Employment practice. This is a unique opportunity to develop and lead the Firm’s traditional labor capabilities across industries and our geographic footprint. The ideal candidate is a seasoned practitioner with deep management-side labor experience and is looking to build and grow a practice within a collaborative and entrepreneurial firm culture.

• Advise employers on all aspects of traditional labor law, including union avoidance, union organizing, collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, labor strategy, and NLRB matters.
• Represent clients before the National Labor Relations Board and in labor arbitrations and negotiations.
• Manage and grow a strong book of business while fostering new client relationships.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups and offices on complex labor and employment matters.
• Serve as a mentor and leader to junior attorneys within the labor & employment practice.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in traditional labor law, with a demonstrated track record of success representing employers.
• Admission to practice in the state where the attorney will be based.
• Self-sustaining portable book of business required.
• Experience leading labor strategy and negotiations strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and client service skills.

This position may be based at any office location within the Firm's footprint.
