Labor & Employment Associate (Junior / Mid-Level)

Position OverviewWe are seeking a Junior or Mid-Level Labor, Employment, Workplace Safety Associate to join a professional services organization in Raleigh. This role requires expertise in labor and employment law with a focus on workplace safety compliance and legal advisory.

Responsibilities- Advise clients on labor, employment, and workplace safety laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment‑related contracts and policies.
- Advise and represent clients in litigation and administrative proceedings related to employment law matters.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative legal strategies for clients.
- Assist in handling matters related to employee benefits, wage and hour compliance, and labor relations.
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high‑quality legal services.
- Stay updated on changes in employment and workplace safety laws.
Candidate must be based in Raleigh, North Carolina and/or be open to relocating to the area so that they can work from the firm's Raleigh office three days per week. Candidates must have U.S. work authorization without requiring sponsorship.

Qualifications- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
- North Carolina State Bar (in good standing) or the ability to sit/swear into the North Carolina State Bar if you hold another U.S. State Bar.
- Strong knowledge of labor and employment law and workplace safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple legal matters effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A commitment to providing outstanding client service and legal expertise.
- Competitive annual base salary ranging from $200,000 to $295,000 USD.
