Real Estate Attorney, Legal Secretary
LHH is partnering with a well-established law firm in Raleigh, NC, to identify an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal. This position supports attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced law firm environment.
Responsibilities- Support attorneys throughout the lifecycle of commercial real estate transactions, from initial documentation through closing
- Draft, prepare, and review commercial real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, amendments, easements, and closing documents
- Coordinate and manage due diligence materials such as title commitments, surveys, zoning, and environmental reports
- Order, track, and review title and survey documents; assist with resolving title and survey issues
- Prepare closing checklists, signature packets, and post-closing binders
- Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of all transaction-related tasks
- Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical files
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal in a law firm setting
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions and related documentation
- Experience reviewing title commitments and surveys preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
