This managerial position is responsible for managing projects and leading teams.

• Develop plan and direct overall activities to achieve construction objectives.
• Responsible for budgeting, production planning, and staffing.
• Handle hiring and staffing needs of the regional office.
• Plan, organize, and staff office and field positions.
• Oversee Project Manager(s), Assistant Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s), Administrative Staff, and Field Personnel.
• Collaborate with the General Superintendent on assignments for Superintendents and Field Personnel.
• Ensure projects are on schedule and meet Owner expectations.
• Train and develop personnel assigned to the office.
• Business development: monitor websites and trade magazines for bid opportunities, meet with owners, architects, and engineers to build a pipeline of projects.
• Develop strategy for sustaining the office and supporting planned growth.
• Work with VP to implement and maintain department standards and procedures.
• Monitor goals for purchase orders, billings, and profitability.
• Manage office overhead budgets.
• Maintain management and cost reports.
• Monitor owner satisfaction.
• Enforce company policies and procedures in the regional office.
• Final approval of job budgets, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Ensure prompt billing and payments to owners and payments to subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with EEO/affirmative action, CSR safety and quality programs, and subcontractor diversity goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

• B.S. in Construction Management or Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of construction experience.
• Experience managing projects or programs for a general contractor.
• Ability to manage projects and personnel simultaneously.
• Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting, and cash flow management.
• Computer skills, Project Management, Scheduling, and strong communication and organizational skills.

• Advanced understanding of production methods, construction processes, and supervision of people and projects.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills.

• Proven ability to manage efficiently.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Experience in budgeting, production planning, and staffing.
• Estimating and JOC proposal experience preferred.
