Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Roaming Quality Inspector to join our team on 2nd shift (typical hours are 3:00 PM 1:00 AM Monday through Thursday). In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting both in-process and finished goods to ensure they meet internal and customer specifications. You will play a key role in helping maintain SMTs high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct inspections of in-process parts and finished products across the facility

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to verify product conformance

· Accurately document inspection results and report any non-conformities

· Work closely with production personnel to resolve quality issues

· Support continual improvement efforts in quality processes

· Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a quality inspection role is required

Previous experience in a manufacturing quality inspection role is preferred

· Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation

· High attention to detail and excellent communication skills

· Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment

· Proficiency with common inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc) preferred
