The Short Order Selector 3rd Shift is responsible for pulling products in an accurate and timely manner for Ward's customers who order products in smaller quantities (by each, by pound, or by half case). The Overnight Short Order Selector is also responsible for loading the “short orders” on to a pallet in an accurate and timely manner for Ward's Produce customers.

• Pulling, labeling, and packaging orders for Keany Produce customers.
• Loading pulled orders onto pallets and / or delivery trucks.
• Inspecting complete orders to ensure that all product items have been pulled.

Degrees of physical demands (strength) are usually associated with this position.

Medium, Min lift requirement 50-60 lbs on a regular basis

• Ability to recognize letters and symbols.
• 1 - 2 years direct order pulling experience preferably in the produce industry
• Basic awareness of produce types
• Basic warehouse distribution
• Able to lift and load products into boxes.
• Able to make judgments on product quality
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment, and have good organizational skills.
