We're looking for a QA Technician
- Slitter to join our team. If you're interested in equipment maintenance, manufacturing operations, and developing technical skills in a fast-paced production environment, this is an excellent opportunity to start or grow your career with one of the world's leading trading card manufacturers.

Location: Raleigh, NC

Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | Overnight (~7p - 7a)

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Summary

The QA Technician
- Slitter supports production operations by assisting with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repair activities, and operational support to help ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing performance.

This role provides hands‑on experience working with production equipment while receiving training and mentorship from experienced technicians. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and interested in building a long‑term career in manufacturing maintenance.

What You'll Do
  • Review production schedules and job requirements to prepare for daily assignments.
  • Assist with operating, maintaining, and supporting slitter equipment.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment repairs.
  • Help install, calibrate, and adjust machine components as needed.
  • Use hand tools and mechanical equipment to repair or replace components.
  • Support equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production teams and maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues.
  • Complete maintenance documentation and production records accurately.
  • Record labor and materials in company systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs.
  • Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
What You'll Bring

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing, maintenance, industrial, mechanical, or technical experience preferred.
  • Experience working with tools, machinery, or production equipment is a plus.

Skills & Abilities

  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment maintenance.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read and follow instructions and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
