EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND

EXPERIENCE:

Required:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Strong reading and mathematical skills Experience in a Utilities or wastewater environment Preferred:
College coursework or technical school training in science, electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation field Strong mechanical aptitude

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to adapt easily to change and demonstrate the ability to be flexible and cooperative Good organizational skills Ability to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate material management equipment Ability to operate manual and automated controls systems to maintain stable operation

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Fast paced bio-chemical/chemical manufacturing environment working inside and outside. This position may perform activities in an environment that contains hazardous elements and requires safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies and guidelines. Work must be performed in a safe manner for personal protection and for the protection of other team members. All safety procedures, procedures described in SOPs, BPRs, and support the compliance of applicable ISO standards in all functional areas must be followed, enforced, and strictly complied with

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to stand and walk around for a minimum of 6 hours per day Bend over, climb, crouch, kneel, reach above head for an hour per day Push and pull less than an hour a day Minimal lifting or carrying of 50 pounds occasionally Repetitive use of hands/arms, legs and eye hand coordination

Monitor boiler operations including fire tube and water tube boilers (Total Capacity of 135,000 #/hr) and air compressor operations (12000 scfm of 35# air) (600 scfm of 90 #air including air dryers for the sites instruments), and cooling tower system operations supplying utilities and process (total tonnage of 6750 tons of tower…
