About the Pastor/Director of Kids Disciple-Making:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Pastor/Director of Kids Disciple-Making to join our team at Providence Church. The ideal candidate will be passionate about nurturing the spiritual growth of children from infancy through fifth grade, with a strong commitment to teaching biblical principles in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.
The successful candidate must have a deep love for children, excellent leadership development skills, and a heart for discipleship. Experience in children’s ministry, preferably in a church of similar size, is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:- Plan, organize, promote, and evaluate a comprehensive discipleship program for Kids Ministry (birth – 5th Grade).
- Partner with Family and Student Ministries to help develop a comprehensive discipleship model from birth to high school.
- Coordinate efforts to partner with parents through regular communication and resourcing.
- Provide leadership, vision, encouragement, and oversight to Kids Disciple-Making staff.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers who serve with kids in all aspects of the ministry.
- Bachelor's degree – required
- Seminary – strongly preferred
- 5 – 7 years of experience
- Experience coming from a church of 500+
- Experience providing supervision to staff
