Do you share a passion for good food and building community? Are you energized by the idea of a high energy environment with a focus on sharing healthy meals? If so, then Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Raleigh wants you to join our exciting new business enterprise, the Savor food truck!

The mission of Catholic Charities is to provide help to our brothers and sisters in need by alleviating the effects of poverty and create hope by developing solutions to transform lives. Our newest program, the Savor food truck, was designed to create a sustainable funding stream to support this mission. Savor will operate as a traditional food truck with all proceeds supporting Mobile Food Pantries for our neighbors in need.

The Cook for the Savor Food Truck will serve as a customer service-oriented staff member on a single unit level. The position is designed to fill in during times of need when other employees are out due to vacation, illness, or high demand, and the hours will be variable based upon need. The Cook will implement the mission of Catholic Charities and carry out the vision of the Savor food truck while participating in all food production, on-truck activities, and event execution.
