Job Description

Shift: 3/12 hour shifts from 7pm–7am with rotating weekends.

Location:

Triangle Springs, a 77‑bed behavioral health hospital in Raleigh, NC, treating substance abuse and mental health patients.

As a registered nurse (RN), you will assess patients, plan care, supervise shifts, ensure policy compliance, monitor patient conditions, administer medication, and provide compassionate, dignity‑respecting care.

• Assess the patient and plan care within set time‑frames and document findings according to policies.
• Oversee and supervise the shift, delegating tasks such as group work, close observation, meal supervision, etc., to demonstrate leadership.
• Ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is delivered by self and all team members.
• Monitor patient for change of condition and respond accordingly, including notification of the physician.
• Follow hospital policy for medication administration.
• Use empathy, dignity, and respect when interacting with patients.
• Deliver quality nursing care to ensure that goals of the treatment plan are properly executed following hospital policies and procedures and demonstrated nursing competencies.
• Assist or perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients.

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) within 30 days of starting
