BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have:

- Must have open availability
- Every other weekend required
- Floating between High Risk and Labor and Delivery required

Description:

Position available for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. Interviews will be conducted virtually. A minimum of two years of recent Labor and Delivery experience is required. Certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Required charting experience with EPIC. No blocked scheduling is allowed. Floating between high-risk and Labor and Delivery units is expected. Travelers with prior charge experience are preferred. Experience in caring for high-risk and low-risk obstetrical patients is needed.

The unit handles high acuity cases with approximately 350-450 deliveries per month. Staffing ratios will be two patients per nurse during both day and night shifts. Attendance policy includes allowance for up to three absences per 13-week contract. Candidates are expected to provide documentation and responsiveness for onboarding processes. Compliance with vaccination policies is mandatory. The position involves responsibilities such as labor management, postpartum care, and newborn assessments.
