Job Opportunity – Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina

Start Date: October 12, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 6-week rotating schedule with 3 weekends required; self-scheduling available

• 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit within a nationally recognized 815-bed hospital system
• Patient ratios: 1:1 to 1:2 in PICU; 1:2 to 1:3 in stepdown areas
• Work with advanced technologies including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and Alaris pumps
• Cerner EMR documentation system
• Float opportunities to Pediatrics and Neonatal ICU for clinical variety

• Current North Carolina RN license or eligibility
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Pediatric ICU experience
• Proficiency in IV starts, catheterizations, central line dressing changes, trach care, tube feeding and placement
• Experience with ventilator management and critical care procedures
