Job Opportunity – Dialysis Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (36 hours per week), every other weekend required, Sunday on-call rotation from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Highlights:
- Work with acute hemodialysis patients in a 9-station unit plus one isolation station
- Patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 depending on acuity and location
- Experience with Fresenius T hemodialysis machines and Baxter peritoneal dialysis equipment
- Epic documentation system with Pyxis medication management
- 24-hour orientation including ICU/offsite and dialysis room/peritoneal dialysis training
- Contract extensions available through February 27, 2027
- Scrubs provided
Requirements:
- Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
- BLS certification required
- CDN or CNN certification preferred
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute hemodialysis experience required
- Recent experience (within 1 year) with Fresenius equipment and peritoneal dialysis with Baxter equipment required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Willingness to float as needed based on census and serve on Storm/Hurricane Team during catastrophic events
