Part‑Time Kennel Technician at Swift Creek Animal Hospital
Responsible for ensuring the health and wellness of boarded animals, maintaining a clean environment, and providing excellent customer service to owners.
SalaryBase pay range: $15.00/yr - $16.00/yr (range provided by Community Veterinary Partners).
Shift SchedulePrimarily two to three weekday afternoon shifts (3‑6pm) and one to two weekends per month. Requires flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications- Previous experience in animal husbandry and handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Experience with health and wellness of animals
- Feed and water animals according to dietary needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels and walking areas
- Assist with animal bathing
- Assist Veterinary Assistants and DVMs with restraint for sample collection and exams
- Clean and pack surgical instruments, towels, and gowns
Strong animal husbandry and handling skills, sanitization skills, ability to maintain a clean and safe environment for animal guests.
