** Role
Summary:
** As a QA Engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures. This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You’ll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.**$2,500

**** M-F: 7:30am-4:15pm*
* ** Responsibilities:
*** Coordinate with production in order to plan and execute inbound and production checks
* Manage relations with customers or third party inspectors
* Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits
* Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events
* Monitor product portfolio KPIs and drive effective root cause corrective actions where appropriate to address gaps to agreed targets
* Manage customer witness inspections
* Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality
* Create awareness in the Leadership community regarding what opportunities have been discovered or developed and how to realize them
* Collaborate with the department or other company departments to clarify / resolve issues techniques related to QC activities.
* Offer all documents as per QAP to customer after coordinating with internal departments and closing all documentation queries
* Other duties as assigned
** Requirements:
*** BS or BA Degree in relevant field and / or 0-2 years relevant experience
* Experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies
* Experience in quality control department
* Understanding of product / process flow
* Strong organizational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
** Preferred:
*** Previous manufacturing experience
