- Responsible for new business development; researching prospective customers and conducting cold calls
- Understands inventory to properly answer / match inquiry calls and available space
- Builds good working relationships with brokers and existing customers
- Coordinates and leads property tours for prospective customers
- Coordinates space planning activities between customers and architects / construction teams
- Utilizes proprietary leasing analysis software
- Prepares lease proposals and reviews; negotiates lease terms with customers and brokers through execution
- Attends customer punch list walk-throughs
- Assists in preparation of annual leasing budgets
- Actively participates in local Commercial Real Estate organizations (NAIOP, Chamber of Commerce, etc.)
- Excellent and effective organizational and time management skills
- High interpersonal relationship skills and strong work ethic
- Strong sales skills
- Detail-oriented and analytical
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Real Estate License or attained within six months of hire
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in business, economics, or marketing
- Minimum of five years of experience in sales, commercial leasing or property management preferred
This job operates in a professional office environment, as well as throughout a variety of properties. The employee may be exposed to construction sites and various weather conditions.
