The Leasing Consultant reports to the General Manager and is responsible for assisting with daily property operations to ensure customer satisfaction, fiscal stability, and property condition.
Assist with leasing to maintain high occupancy levels, including mailing renewal offers, logging responses, and managing property availability.Ensure accurate records of availability align with lease renewal reports.Approve, enter, and present rental applications to the General Manager for approval.Manage property licenses and renewal processes, liaising with legal counsel and the City.Assist with check-out procedures, including accepting keys and inspecting vacated units.Ensure leases and resident check-ins are accurate and efficient.Respond promptly to resident concerns and complaints, maintaining good public relations and reporting to the General Manager.Prepare weekly reports on property performance as needed.Assist in developing and implementing marketing and resident retention programs.Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, staff, and vendors.Handle general administrative duties such as filing and typing.Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Entrata is preferred.Strong computer skills, math ability, and attention to detail are essential.Demonstrate a positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude, with excellent customer service and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and think rationally beyond instructions.Additional details
