Postdoctoral Research Scholar position in the Kinga Unocic Research Group, Department of Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University (NC State College of Engineering), Raleigh, NC.

Job Duties
- Perform high-temperature oxidation testing and monitor sample testing.
- Characterize oxidation coupons and assist with lab setup.
- Post-characterization activities as required.
- Maintain and support lab operations.
- Develop and implement MATLAB/Python scripts for data analysis and automation.
- Assist with grant writing, bibliographic research, and preparation of figures.
- Assist with reporting activities, including collecting and collating results for reports.
- Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. - Required Skills:
Computer word processing, spreadsheets, mapping, MATLAB or Python, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, knowledge of laboratory safety and biosafety practices. - Preferred:
Experience in laboratory testing, materials characterization, MATLAB, Python, fabrication.
