Job Duties
  • Process bacterial cultures, mammalian cell cultures, and perform molecular, serological, histopathology, and in‑situ hybridization assays for the Intracellular Pathogens Research Laboratory (IPRL).
  • Use computer skills for data entry, result reporting, data summaries, and responding.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Experience/

    Education:

    Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
  • Department

    Required Skills:

    Previous experience in a molecular, histopathology, or research laboratory setting.
  • Preferred Experience and

    Education:
    • Four‑year degree in Biology or equivalent related experience.
    • Benchtop laboratory skills, e.g., pipetting, culturing bacteria, microscope competence.
    • Prior experience or interest in human and veterinary medicine research is highly desirable.
