We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented team member to support research operations, assisting with experiments, and assist with lab management. This role combines hands‑on scientific research with core lab oversight in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications- Research & Lab Work: Execute experiments using animal models (mouse line maintenance/tissue collection), cell lines, and primary cultures. Perform molecular biology techniques (RNA /protein work, staining, tissue sectioning, live-image analysis).
- Lab Management: Oversee day‑to‑day operations, manage equipment and inventory, and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.
- Data & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, manage scientific data, and contribute to publications, grant applications, and presentations.
- Technical & Problem-Solving
Skills:
Prior research experience required. Proficient in standard lab equipment, troubleshooting, computers, and data management tools. - Work Ethic &
Soft Skills:
Self‑motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently while fostering a collaborative, supportive team environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in a research lab
- Experience in mammalian primary cell culture (establishment and maintenance)
- Experience in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques (PCR ; RT‑qPCR; gel electrophoresis, DNA , RNA , and protein extraction; immunofluorescence; immunohistochemistry)
- Experience in mouse colony management (animal handling, breeding, weaning, genotyping, etc) and in vivo experimentation
