A rapidly growing and innovative life sciences organization is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to support business development and customer growth throughout the Southesast United States.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career professional with a background in life sciences who is interested in building a career in technical and consultative sales. Previous sales experience is helpful, but not required
. We are looking for someone who is curious, driven, highly motivated, and excited to develop relationships while learning the science and technology behind innovative laboratory and bioprocess solutions.
Through a structured graduate sales program
, you will receive training, coaching, and hands-on experience while working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO, research, and laboratory organizations.
- Participate in a comprehensive training and development program designed to build technical sales and business development skills.
- Develop and execute a territory growth strategy across the Southeast U.S.
- Prospect for new business and develop relationships with prospective customers.
- Build trusted customer relationships through consultative, solution-focused selling.
- Learn and communicate technical information related to laboratory and bioprocess products.
- Support existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for additional products and solutions.
- Conduct customer presentations, product discussions, and sales meetings.
- Collaborate with internal product, engineering, technical, and customer support teams to deliver strong customer experiences.
- Identify new market opportunities and share customer insights with internal teams.
- Manage sales activities, customer interactions, pipeline development, and opportunities through CRM.
- Work toward achieving and exceeding territory sales objectives.
- Develop the knowledge, relationships, and sales skills necessary for long-term career growth within the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related scientific field preferred.
- Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
- Previous sales, customer-facing, laboratory, research, or industry experience is a plus but not required
. - Strong interest in developing a career in technical sales, business development, and account management
. - Ability to learn and communicate scientific and technical information effectively.
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable initiating conversations, prospecting for new business, and developing customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, competitive, curious, and willing to learn.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Comfortable using CRM software and other business tools, or willing to learn.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a large territory.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50–55% throughout the Southeast
