Job Description & How to Apply Below

Founded in 2012, Millennia is a fast-growing, private equity-backed healthcare technology company based in Raleigh, NC. Our proprietary platform, analytics, and digital solutions help more than 1,800 facilities across 43 states deliver a seamless patient experience—from appointment scheduling and digital intake to personalized payment solutions.

Millennia is seeking a driven Vice President of Sales to win new ambulatory healthcare clients—including physician practices, clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and outpatient centers—for our patient payment solutions and early-out collection services. In this remote, territory-based role, you will partner with a dynamic sales and marketing team to build market awareness, cultivate qualified opportunities, and close high-value deals. The compensation package combines a competitive base salary with a lucrative, performance-based commission plan, giving you meaningful control over your earning potential and success.

This is an opportunity for a competitive, confident, and self-directed sales professional to make a visible impact and grow with an expanding company. The ideal candidate brings strong solution-selling skills and a track record of turning disciplined prospecting into results; experience in healthcare or revenue cycle management is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Win new ambulatory healthcare clients—including physician groups, clinics, surgery centers, and outpatient facilities for Millennia’s payment solutions and early-out collection services.
  • Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and key influencers, converting whitespace into qualified opportunities and maintaining an active pipeline at three times annual quota.
  • Meet or exceed territory quota by executing account and opportunity strategies that generate profitable new revenue.
  • Create demand through disciplined outbound prospecting using approved content, sales enablement tools, and technology.
  • Engage executives and revenue cycle leaders—including CEOs, CFOs, vice presidents, directors, and billing managers to advance discovery conversations and product demonstrations.
  • Deliver accurate, confident, and compelling sales presentations.
  • Lead coordinated selling efforts with subject matter experts and pre-sales resources, including virtual and onsite demonstrations.
  • Use a consultative approach to uncover prospect needs and clearly differentiate the value of Millennia’s solutions.
  • Secure pricing approvals and develop proposals, MSAs, and SOWs that align with the agreed scope and internal protocols.
  • Negotiate and close qualified opportunities through signed contracts.
  • Ensure a seamless handoff to implementation and participate in client kickoff meetings to support complete, accurate knowledge transfer.
  • Maintain accurate, timely Salesforce records for leads, contacts, activity, opportunity value, stage, close date, and next steps.
  • Lead responses to RFPs for qualified opportunities aligned with Millennia’s capabilities.
  • Build “customers for life” by establishing trusted-partner status and sustaining C-level relationships.
  • Follow the Millennia sales process and quickly master our offerings, healthcare revenue cycle workflows, and industry best practices.
  • Partner with Marketing on new initiatives and share actionable feedback on what drives engagement and results.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Millennia’s products and services.
  • Bring customer needs, industry trends, market perceptions, and competitive intelligence back to leadership, marketing, and product development teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Five or more years of sales experience with a record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Proven success developing and closing new business; healthcare or medical sales experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • High energy, strong organization, and a disciplined work ethic.
  • Comfort and confidence in a high-activity outbound prospecting environment, with a clear understanding that consistent activity drives results.
  • A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and subject matter experts to coordinate demos, accelerate deals, and develop creative prospect-engagement strategies.
  • Self-directed, accountable, and able to deliver results with limited oversight.
  • Curiosity and aptitude to learn technology and translate its capabilities into clear business value for prospects.
