Responsibilities
  • RNA extraction
  • Assistance with plant RNA collection
  • RNA library preparation
  • Plant care
  • Dishwashing and washing plant material
  • Lab upkeep and organization
Requirements
  • Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties
  • Lab experience with sterile techniques
  • Experience working with RNA
  • Understanding of transcriptional regulation and associated experiments for evaluating changes in transcriptional regulation
  • Biochemistry training
  • Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Biochemistry degree
  • Previous supervision experience
  • Experience with RNA extraction
