As a Security Guard - Armed Bank Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within financial institutions, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a welcoming atmosphere, and deliver outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols provided by Allied Universal.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter potential threats and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed in the event of critical incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while carrying out all assigned armed security-related duties in a financial institution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
