As a Security Officer – Unarmed Building Patrol in Raleigh, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries, including financial institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You are part of a team-driven, people‑first culture while performing security‑related responsibilities.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using training and established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with controlling access, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit points.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other site‑specific procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required only for driving positions.
