As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in Raleigh, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and members. You will respond to concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, members, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, financial institution policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the financial institution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and potential policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
