Water Restoration Technician

CTI is currently seeking a Water Restoration Technician as a self-motivated, energetic individual to grow and work with a reputable restoration contractor. A qualified candidate will be responsible for responding to water damage emergencies, assessing the extent of damage, and implementing restoration procedures to return properties to their pre-loss condition. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Job Description:
  • Respond promptly to water damage emergencies, including floods, leaks, and other water-related incidents.
  • Collaborate with CTI team and subcontractors to help ensure proper guidelines are met and quality control is accounted for.
  • Document findings and communicate with clients and insurance adjusters regarding the scope of work required.
  • Implement proper techniques for water extraction to minimize damage to property and prevent mold growth.
  • Assist with demolition and all aspects of the specific project.
  • Mold remediation and discovery.
  • Adhere to industry standards, best practices, and safety protocols during all restoration activities.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and be a team player.
  • The position will be primarily field oriented.
Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in industry.
  • Knowledgeable of current mitigation practices with IRCRC.
  • Knowledgeable or ability to learn Xactimate software.
  • Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proactively seek improvement and innovation.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Basic towing and hauling of single and dual axle trailers.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred.
