Job Duties
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance inspections on Life Safety Systems, Fire Detection and Suppression Systems, Security Systems, CCTV Systems, Equipment Monitoring Systems, and other electronic subsystems.
- Install, maintain, and modify fire detection and suppression systems, Life Safety equipment, card access systems, CCTV, and equipment monitoring tools.
- Respond to repair requests and troubleshoot electronic components to ensure systems operate at peak performance.
- Coordinate with other teams and vendors to guarantee timely inspections and installations.
- Experience working with security systems and CCTV systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electronic systems.
- Knowledge of safety codes and regulations related to Life Safety systems (preferred).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and vendors.
- Experience working with fire alarm systems.

Position is 2nd shift, 100% on site. Temporary professional non‑faculty. Compensation $26.44 – $27.00 per hour (anticipated). Valid NC driver’s license not required.
