We are seeking Structural Welders for a project in Clayton, NC. The role involves selecting equipment, planning weld layout, assembling and welding structural components, and performing maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery.

• Select equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding, applying knowledge of metal properties and welding techniques.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit components together.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack‑weld parts to secure them for welding.
• Set up welding equipment and weld parts using arc, gas‑shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts using hand tools and specialized equipment.
• Rate information using measurable standards.
• Detect, recognize, and respond to dangerous conditions and situations.
• Certification at one or more levels is required.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

• Skilled in written and verbal communication.
• Complete all Safety and general job training required by SIC.
• Observe SIC and customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.

• Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
• Work may involve office, shop, busy traffic areas, warehouses, and undeveloped properties with exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather.
• Must be able to safely access all areas of property, buildings, structures, wharves, rooftops, and other elevated positions, including confined spaces.
• Strenuous physical demands required to safely perform essential functions.
• Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools.
• Must be capable of standing for long periods, bending consistently, working in confined spaces, on ladders, in personnel lifts, on workboats, and in awkward body positions.
