Job Overview Summary
The Senior Service Technician plays a key role in managing complex security projects and provides high-level expertise in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced security systems. As a senior team member, this technician often mentors junior technicians and leads complex installations, testing, and maintenance efforts.
What you'll be doing (and doing well!):
- Lead the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of advanced security systems, including integrated platforms with multiple security components.
- Provide technical support for escalated service requests and address advanced technical challenges.
- Oversee and conduct system inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Develop and maintain documentation on complex installations, maintenance, and technical solutions.
- Stay current with industry advancements, product updates, and emerging technologies.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

- A Sense of humor, creativity, and positive attitude
- Associate degree or equivalent technical training in electronics, IT, or a related field; industry certifications (e.g., NICET, CompTIA) are preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in the security industry, with a focus on advanced technical support and system installations.
- Proficiency in security software, system integration, and network configuration.
- Excellent leadership and mentorship skills.
- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Able to safely work at heights on ladders and aerial lifts
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs.
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.
- Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.
