Topa Group is partnered with a leading Fire Protection Contractor in the Raleigh–Durham–Chapel Hill market. We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field crews and oversee commercial fire sprinkler installations. This role is hands-on and leadership-driven, focused on safety, quality, and on-time project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise fire sprinkler installation crews on commercial projects.
  • Install and oversee wet, dry, pre-action, and standpipe systems per NFPA 13/14 and local codes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and hydraulic plans.
  • Coordinate daily activities with project managers, GCs, inspectors, and other trades.
  • Plan manpower, materials, and equipment to meet schedules and productivity goals.
  • Perform quality checks and prepare systems for AHJ inspections.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards on all jobsites.
  • Train and mentor sprinkler fitters and apprentices.
  • Complete daily reports and time tracking using mobile tools.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience; foreman or lead experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial fire sprinkler systems and installation practices.
  • Solid understanding of NFPA standards and AHJ requirements.
  • Ability to manage crews and jobsite priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • NICET, OSHA 10/30, or backflow certification is a plus.
